Community Guidelines
Quino exists so friends can make good plans together. These guidelines say what is welcome and what is not. They go with the Terms of Use.
Be kind
- Use a name your friends recognise. Use your own photo or none.
- Treat everyone in a plan with respect. Plans are for fun.
- Only invite people who would want to be invited. Do not keep sending requests after someone declines.
Not allowed
- Harassment, threats, bullying, stalking or doxxing (sharing someone's private details).
- Hate or discrimination because of origin, faith, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar.
- Sexual, violent, shocking or insulting names, photos or plan titles.
- Impersonating another person, fake accounts or fake guests.
- Spam, scams, advertising, or trying to sell something through plans or friend requests.
- Scraping Quino, bypassing limits or testing its security.
- Anything illegal.
Plan titles, names and photos can be seen by the people you share them with. We clean and limit text, but the responsibility starts with you.
If something goes wrong
- Report a person (profile or plan, ••• menu → Report) or a place (Report place). Pick a reason and, if you like, add a sentence.
- Block a person to stop contact at once. You can undo this in Settings.
- Emergency or danger: call 112. Quino cannot help in an emergency.
- You can always email hello@joinquino.com.
What we do
We aim to look at every report within 24 hours. Depending on what happened we may remove content, warn, suspend or delete an account. We tell the person briefly why, and how they can object. The person you report is not told that you reported them. Where the law requires it, or someone is in danger, we may involve the authorities.
Dietary and allergy information
Dietary labels (halal, vegetarian, vegan) help you choose, but we cannot check kitchens. If you have an allergy or strict requirement, always ask the restaurant.
